The Marcel woven rattan armchair, shown here in its low-back version, is THE iconic French rattan model. Very popular in rural areas in the early 1900s, it was sold at the time by peddlers who went from village to village. Lightweight, sturdy, and inexpensive, the woven rattan armchair was sometimes the only item of comfort in modest homes: for knitting, smoking, listening to the radio, reading by the fire, or chatting under the apple tree...
Taken from our “archives,” here is an aged model that has been patinated in our workshops and aged naturally, just as you might find it at a flea market, except that it has never been used. However, there may be some minor imperfections, as shown in the photos. Here, there is a slightly damaged strand in the backrest weave.
To be taken as is. Returns are accepted, but return shipping costs are your responsibility.
