The modernity of the Gingko rattan armchair

While its cousin, the ‘bubbles’ rattan armchair, exploits the motif of circles and arcs as its name suggests, the Gingko ‘horizon’ armchair leans more towards straight lines. The horizontal motif formed by parallel slats is part of a resolutely contemporary approach, while emphasising the curvature of the backrest. The ‘horizon’ rattan armchair will therefore be particularly at home in very modern interiors, contrasting with smooth, technical materials such as glass, steel and lacquer. With its low backrest and compact design, the ‘horizon’ rattan armchair is built to be placed around a table, which it will enhance with its lightness and the blondness of its material. It adds distinction and refinement, but with a very assertive character. Features

Structure in peeled rattan cane, seat woven and tied with rattan splints, natural water-based varnish finish. Cushion in polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m3 on plywood screwed to the chair, covered with linen-cotton fabric. Each leg is fitted with a nylon glide.
