Here it is re-released in its original form by the KOK Maison: overall dimensions: height 67 cm x width 102 cm x length 214 cm. Delivered assembled, without a mattress but with a slatted base 90 cm x 190 cm. Weight 22 kg including the slatted base. This Rattan bed is only available in size 90 x 190. Structure in natural rattan made in Indonesia. Metal framed base with 20 multi-ply beech slats 53 mm x 8 mm thick, French made.

The Corbeille rattan bed, a legendary product

KOK needed to do no more than to pull out the plans from its archives to offer you this classic product. The rattan bed in general, and the Corbeille bed in particular, was THE must-have bed for young girls in the 60s. Solid and luxurious wood for the parents, metal tubing for the boys, but for the girls, ... it was rattan :). How many baby-boomers have missed out on what has now become evocative of childhood memories of furniture in ""vintage"" rattan. KOK has decided to bring the ""true original"" back to the market without changing the original construction, entirely screwed onto the metal frame of the slatted base, to ensure stability and robustness.

Our Corbeille rattan bed is delivered assembled (no DIY to sort out): unpack it, put it in place, pop on a 90 x 190 mattress, and it is ready to use. Our Corbeille bed is fitted with a proper bed base with 20 flexible natural beech plywood slats, guaranteeing you a high level of comfort when sleeping. This metal-framed slatted base is also an integral element in the overall strength, with the rattan part of the bed screwed on top. The price of this French-made slatted base unfortunately has a very significant impact on the price of the whole, but it still seems fundamental to us to be able to sleep well... in a bed...
