At KOK Maison, every weave tells a story. Drawing inspiration from the heritage of French furniture, a traditional craft that has been passed down and reinvented, and above all a commitment to creating outdoor furniture with a real soul.

In our ANTIBES, BIARRITZ and BELLE EPOQUE collections, weaving becomes much more than just a technique. It becomes an aesthetic signature, an emotion, a way of bringing elegance and personality to outdoor spaces.

collection résine BIARRITZ NATUREL

The delicacy of the weaving, like lacework

The BIARRITZ collection draws its inspiration from traditional wicker chairs and the instant sense of summer they evoke. These lightweight armchairs are perfect for relaxing in the sun, on a terrace or in a conservatory opening out onto the garden.

The BIARRITZ weave captures this airy aesthetic by alternating openwork sections with denser areas. This contrast creates a sense of rhythm whilst reinforcing the structure of the furniture. The finer fibres further accentuate this impression of lightness and refinement.

As is often the case with KOK Maison, the use of colour plays a key role. The resins are composed of several shades to replicate the irregularities and depth of natural fibres. The CHÂTAIGNE finish evokes the warm tones of traditional wicker, whilst the NATUREL version draws its inspiration directly from the soft hues of rattan pith.

The result is almost reminiscent of lacework. Each piece reveals the precision of the craftsmanship and the meticulous attention paid to every detail. Yet this sophistication remains warm and approachable thanks to the natural tones that lend the furniture its distinctive character.

In the world of outdoor furniture, BIARRITZ offers something rare: refined elegance that never compromises on comfort or authenticity.

Subtle originality inspired by French cane work

The ANTIBES weave takes its inspiration from a classic of French furniture: traditional open cane work. This iconic pattern, instantly recognisable thanks to its interplay of vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines, has stood the test of time without ever losing its elegance.

For ANTIBES, we have retained the essence of this iconic weave whilst adapting it to the world of outdoor furniture. The mesh has been slightly enlarged to create a sense of greater transparency and visual lightness. But what truly sets this collection apart is the use of colour.

The RECIF version features a subtle palette of greys and beiges inspired by rocks sculpted by the tides. The new LATERITE version, unveiled in 2026, explores brown-beige tones with earthy undertones reminiscent of tropical soils and rocks.

What makes ANTIBES so special is its perfect balance between familiarity and modernity. The pattern offers a sense of reassurance through its timelessness, whilst the colour tones lend it a strong personality, without ever veering into the eccentric. The result is furniture that stands out in a subtle way, equally at home in a contemporary garden, by the pool or on a stone terrace.

ANTIBES is for those seeking something unique.

A fresh take on the heritage of Parisian terraces

Some creations stand the test of time with absolute ease. BELLE EPOQUE is one of them.

It all began with a KOK Maison model from the early 1900s that we discovered in our archives, which we then reissued almost identically in our BAGATELLE rattan collection. Its success quickly inspired us to take things a step further by developing a resin version inspired by the famous chairs found in Parisian cafés.

It was a considerable challenge: to capture the warmth and authenticity of rattan whilst ensuring the necessary durability for unrestricted outdoor use. The colours were carefully crafted so that the difference between the natural fibre and the resin is almost imperceptible.

This research gave rise to BELLE EPOQUE: an outdoor collection that retains the spirit of the original design whilst perfectly meeting modern requirements.

Its famous red trim gives it an instantly recognisable identity. It is a classic weave, certainly, but one with a strong character. Its distinctive style appeals to hotels, restaurants, outdoor dining areas and private individuals looking to create unique spaces.

In a world where furniture can sometimes tend to become uniform, BELLE EPOQUE champions the right to individuality. It is a way of expressing a style, an atmosphere, and a way of life.

Behind each of these collections lies a shared philosophy: to preserve the charm of handcrafted furniture whilst adapting it to modern-day needs.

At KOK Maison, wickerwork is never merely decorative. It defines the lines, plays with light, adds texture and lends a special touch to every piece. Each design is crafted to last, to transcend trends and to enhance living spaces for many years to come.

Because beyond the furniture itself, it is atmospheres that we create. Warm, elegant and deeply vibrant spaces.
