A little bit of history
Whether in old KOK catalogues from 100 years ago (when the company was called Vannerie Hollandaise) or in any catalogue from the turn of the 19th century, those of Parisian department stores or the Manufacture d'armes et cycles de St Etienne (later Manufrance), or even in Impressionist paintings, the woven rattan chaise longue always features prominently. There are all kinds of versions available, at all price points. It must be said that the upholstered sofa as we know it today was not very common, and a woven rattan chaise longue was often the only comfortable piece of furniture in a home. Available here in an outdoor version, the woven resin chaise longue brings that much-loved "Belle Epoque" spirit to the garden, while withstanding the vagaries of the outdoor climate.
