The Art Deco style, which was in vogue at the turn of the 19th century, was full of curves, arabesques and plant motifs of all kinds, like the famous "Guimard" entrances of the Paris metro. The Belle Epoque garden chair is the direct descendant of the Bagatelle rattan chair, an emblem of the French art of living, with afternoons spent under the arbour, strolls in the botanical gardens and moments spent "in society" on the terrace of a brasserie on the Grands Boulevards. With the Belle Epoque woven resin chair, KOK MAISON pays tribute to this bygone era, preserving all its charm and adapting it for outdoor use. The Belle Epoque woven resin chair is a faithful reproduction of a period model, retaining all its characteristics: dark brown frame, red piping and wide curved backrest.

Resistant to all weather conditions, including rain, snow, sun, sea salt and even swimming pool chlorine, our synthetic rattan collections are designed for outdoor use: UV-treated HDPE (high-density polyethylene) synthetic resin, guaranteed for temperatures between -15°C and +55°C, with a powder-coated aluminium frame.

Very lightweight thanks to their aluminium frame and the lightness of the resin, the items in the BELLE EPOQUE range are easy to move around, so you can follow the shade or the sun in the garden, or bring them inside in winter.

Maintenance couldn't be simpler: just dust the frames from time to time or at the start of the season, using soapy water or a low-pressure Karcher cleaner. The fabrics are machine washable and easy to remove and replace. However, we recommend bringing the cushions inside in the event of severe or prolonged bad weather and when not in use.

The Belle Epoque woven resin chair is suitable for private and professional use (hotels, cafés, restaurants, etc.) and can be used outdoors without restriction.
