ORCHID EDITION - PLUS rattan armchair

Another creation from AC/AL studio (Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot) for Orchid Edition and KOK Maison.

In accordance with the Orchid Edition guidelines, the PLUS rattan armchair inaugurates a new approach to rattan design: clean shapes, devoid of the many arches and ligatures that are usually found on rattan furniture, yet paying a particular tribute to "French canework", the golden age of which was Regency and Louis XV style of furniture, not to mention the bentwood seats of the Thonet erain the 19th century... The generously padded headrest, available in several fabrics, brings extra comfort and visually balances the sober line of the armchair. The PLUS rattan armchair boasts a real high-back and relaxed ergonomy.

Rattan armchair PLUS: technical data

Structure: barked natural rattan, matt lackered. Seat: open rattan canework  "à la française" reinforced by a grid of nylon straps. Padded headboard screwed to the structure, plywood  + 30 kg/m3 polyurethane foam, upholstered in a choice of 7 fabrics.

Rattan armchair PLUS: maintenance

Remove dust with damp cloth or vacuum cleaner regularly. This item is meant for indoor use only. It is normal to see the canewok slightly deforming in a dry atmosphere. Moisten it, preferably from beneath, and it will resume its normal tension.
