The Tom willow armchair is a hybrid between the Ilona willow armchair and the Firmin openwork willow armchair. From the Ilona, it takes the large-diameter willow base and wide seat, while from the Firmin, it inherits the rounded shape of the back and a height that wraps around the shoulders. Structure and weave in natural buff willow (no varnish or stain). Made in Europe. The Tom wicker armchair is sold here without cushions, but there is an optional cushion to match, available in a range of fabrics.

The Tom willow armchair: use and care

If the natural place to place a wicker armchair is a conservatory, a winter garden or a country house, it is not advisable to use it as garden furniture. Wicker is willow, a wood like any other that is not made to withstand prolonged exposure to the elements, damp, frost or direct sunlight. You can, however, take it outside occasionally in fine weather.
