Rattan bench TRAVERSE

Designed by ACAL studio (Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot) for KOK maison and Orchid Edition, the Traverse rattan bench combines contemporary lines with ancestral manufacturing techniques. By replacing the numerous bindings and arches usually to be seen on rattan seats , with simple metal braces, ACAL makes the TRAVERSE aeriel, yet rich of gracious curves.The "french canework" seat mat, a technique developped in the 18th century, will add transparency and a pinch od classicism.

Versatile, mobile, the TRAVERSE rattan bench will find its place in an entrance hall to store your bag or take off your shoes, as a bed end, in the living room as a side table or as an occasionnal seat.

Structure in varnished peeled natural rattan. Cawork in rattan is reinforced by nylon straps under the seat. Overall dimensions: width 100 cm x depth 37 cm x seat height 44 cm. Weight 3 kg. Feet fitted with removable double-sided pads. Made in Indonesia. Delivered fully assembled.
