When used without its removable footrest, the rattan lounge chair transforms into a classic armchair. We highly recommend pairing your lounge chair with the matching cushion. Thick and articulated to follow the backrest’s recline settings, it’s essential if you want to use your rattan lounge chair for more than just decoration.

The vintage “Grandmother” rattan lounge chair is manufactured in Indonesia, with the “antique patina” finish applied in our workshops in France.

Vintage “Grand-Mère” Rattan Chaise Lounge: Differences from the “Bagatelle”

The vintage “Grand-Mère” rattan chaise lounge isn’t the only chaise lounge available at KOK. There’s also the “Bagatelle” woven rattan chaise lounge, which is similar in many ways—including the backrest, footrest, wide flat armrests, and nearly identical dimensions—but features notable differences. The “Grand-Mère” vintage rattan lounge chair is a simplified and more recent version of the “Bagatelle” lounge chair. It has no colored strands, no separate footrest, no curved seat, and no raised edge on the footrest. With its more rustic style, the “Grand-Mère” vintage rattan lounge chair is therefore offered at a lower price than the “Bagatelle” lounge chair.
