RESIN

Our resin collections

When we think about rattan seats, we imagine curves, comfort, lightness... simple, user-friendly, authentic and natural furniture. But when the "can we leave rattan outdoors" question comes, we must advise you to be careful. It is natural, thus biodegradable...

Our RESIN collections were first created to keep the warmth of natural rattan and make furniture possible for real outdoor use.

ALUMINIUM is light and rot-resistant, so, ideal for garden furniture. We chose it as it imitates quite good the rattan curves. It does not rust. We add a special, anti-corrosion paint to enhance protection.

The POLYTHENE RESIN that we used on our "Poivre & Galet" furniture imitate the colors and touch of a "Lloyd Loom" natural weaving. The "DUNE" and the natural color of the Tobago resin imitates rattan almost perfectly. The colors where especially made to be as close as possible of the color shades of natural material. It is produced by ECOLENE. You can check their quality and environmental standards on their website : www.ecolenefiber.com.

- It is cold, frost, rain, UV and mould resistant
- It bears temperatures ranging from -70°C to +70°C
- The UV tests showed that there were no color change after 3.000 hours of UV exposure.
- It has been produced to resist rain, salt (salted air in seaside places) and chlorine (around swimming pools).

Our best warranty is our experience... We left armchairs outdoors during 10 years, with absolutely no protection (we are based in North of France, we experience rain, frost and sun...). We only clean them once a year with high-pressure hose to remove dead leaves. They still look brand new.

Our outdoor fabrics

The cushion cover fabric is synthetic: 100% OLEFIN. It is a fabric that does not fade under the sun. It is water repellent : water will drop when it rains and it will dry very fast. Still, we advise you to bring them indoors if there is heavy rain, to protect the cushion foam.

All our cushions covers are removable. We advise you to wash them with cold water and some "Marseille" soap if necessary. No or very little spin drying and open air drying.
