Our rectangular laundry basket is woven from natural rattan pith on a rattan frame and features a 100% cotton lining. It is stamped “KOK MAISON.”

Rattan pith is the inner core of the rattan cane. Stripped of its bark and machine-calibrated, it reveals the beautiful cream color of the rattan fiber. Its uniformity and fineness allow for very clean lines and a contemporary take on utilitarian basketry.

Another “in-house” tip from KOK: the inner lining is mounted on a rattan hoop that rests on a rim inside the basket. The lining fabric is never visible, yet remains easy to remove and replace.

The hinged lid is fitted with rattan hinges.
