In keeping with the spirit of KOK Maison's Grand-Père armchairs, the square Nantucket honey-coloured rattan coffee table echoes their main features: a large-diameter unpeeled rattan cane frame, rattan pith weaving on both trays, with the top tray featuring the traditional "diamond" pattern, and rattan splint ligatures, with the pattern on the edge of the top tray echoing that of an armchair armrest. The lower compartment is edged with a small gallery to prevent objects from falling out. The Nantucket honey-coloured rattan square coffee table is also available in a rectangular format.

Nantucket square honey rattan coffee table: features
Overall dimensions of the Nantucket honey-coloured square rattan coffee table: height 46 cm x 51 cm x 51 cm, internal dimensions of the storage space in the lower magazine rack: 42 cm x 42 cm x 23 cm high. Weight 5 kg (without glass top). Shown here in a honey finish, it is available in clear varnished or antique-patina rattan, as desired. The Nantucket square honey-coloured rattan coffee table is manufactured in Indonesia under the supervision of KOK. A rattan table is not a piece of garden furniture. Care: dust with a vacuum cleaner brush. Moisten occasionally with a spray bottle if the table is placed in a very dry area (e.g. a conservatory heated in winter).
The Nantucket rattan coffee table can be fitted with an optional protective glass top. It can be used as a side table, end table or bedside table, depending on your needs.
The Nantucket rattan coffee table is suitable for private and professional use in hotels.
Rattan pith, splint, cane: what are the differences?
The Nantucket honey-coloured square rattan coffee table is made from several rattan by-products: cane, rattan pith and rattan splints. To put it simply, let's consider that the cane, the rattan stem with its bark, which is used to build the structure of the table, can then be peeled to remove the bark. Once calibrated and sorted, these very strong and flexible "laces" of bark will be used to make ligatures. This is what is called rattan "splints". The rattan cane without its bark can then be pushed through a drawing machine to produce regular cylindrical strands that will be used to weave the top of the tabletop and the lower magazine rack of the Nantucket honey-coloured square rattan coffee table. This is called rattan "pith". As cane, splints and pith are natural materials, it is normal to see slight variations in colour from one strand to another, which are part of the charm of the material.
