The Grand père rattan armchair, shown here in the natural rattan version, is inspired by the original Grand-père armchair, whose legendary lines it echoes: the famous ""diamond"" pattern in the backrest, the natural rattan frame and the weave in round rattan core lightly varnished to protect it from dust, but allow the fibre to breathe. A little higher in seat and back than the armchair, and without armrests meaning it fits better around a table, it is a proper dining room chair. In the city, in the countryside, as an extra chair in a room, in a conservatory, or in the shade of the arbour on sunny days, it has the air of a vagabond, and will follow you everywhere.
Overall dimensions: height 90 x width 50 x depth 52. Seat height 47 cm. Seat width 40cm, Seat depth 40cm, Weight 3.5 kg. Offered here in a natural rattan finish with its bark, or patinated in the traditional way, as you wish. Made in Indonesia, patinated in France to order (allow about 15 days extra).
