When Pierre (Pieter) KOK settles in France in the early 1920’s, the manufacturing of rattan furniture and baskets has been established in the Netherlands for 2 generations already.

Pierre KOK has dedicated his life to build a prosperous company even after the World War II disaster.
In the beginning of the 70’s, his daughter Annie and her husband, Gerard KROL are successfully launching a collection of indoor rattan seats carefully stained and finished entering traditional as well as contemporary houses. In the meantime, they developed very tight relationships with Asian suppliers, setting up several productions over there.

Since 2004, Tina, the grand-daughter of Pierre KOK and Eric LEDI, her husband have focused on design and new material developments.

We really try to use the best natural fibres that are fast growing and easily renewable. We also promote synthetic fibres like HDPE resin which is 100 % recyclable. We collaborate more and more with outside designers like D-sign by O.
